Leipzig is a very livable city with a lot of history, cultural events and parks. The city is mainly partioned into two parts, the east and the west. In the center of Leipzig, you will find a historic city center, a lot of parks and green spaces, and of course the socio-cultural center VILLA itself ;). Within the city there is a lot going on: museums, art exhibitions, concerts and parties, markets and flea markets.

Summer is the season where the city is very alive and a lot going on. People hang out in the parks or at the lakes close to the city, do watersports like canoeing, or just hang out with friends in front of a „Späti“.

In Winter, people are a lot more indoors, as it can get quite cold. You can visit some of the nice christmas markets, go ice skating or if we are lucky to get some snow, also built a snowman.
