ESC @ Conne Island: Event Technology

About the project

Conne Island is a self-managed youth cultural centre in Leipzig-Connewitz. Our premises host concerts and parties, information events, workshops, reading circles, a skate park and much more. Decisions on the content are made by consensus in the Conne Island's Monday public plenary sessions. Not only the permanent staff, but also the volunteers and people who are interested in the development of Conne Island take part in this plenary session. Conne Island has a left-wing orientation and relies heavily on the voluntary commitment of its visitors. It also offers plenty of space for your own project ideas.

Tasks

You will be mainly involved in the event management and in setting up the technology for the events, like the live mixing. You will also learn how to use the professional sound equipment. Furthermore, you can participate in/ contribute to the other projects in Conne Island or also implement your own projects. We are very open towards your ideas!
