Voluntary Service in Leipzig: European Solidarity Corps
We are supporting and hosting organisation for the voluntary service „European Solidarity Corps“ (ESC). We have different hosting organisations in Leipzig and offer voluntary places every year.
Our volunteers live in shared flats. Everybody has an own room and share bathroom and kitchen. The flats are full equipped and have internet connection.
During the voluntary service, volunteers get budget for food, transportation and pocket money. It is financed by the EU programme European Solidarity Corps.
How to become a volunteer in Leipzig
We are offering young people the opportunity to volunteer in Leipzig, in general for a period of twelve months.
We offer a variety of placements in the social, cultural and educational sector.
If you are interested in taking part in ESC, you should be between 18 and 30, live in an European or partner country and be willing to commit your time, energy and enthusiasm to volunteer for a longer period of time.

Volunteering service (ESC: European Solidarity Corps) in cultural youth work: „Kinder- und Jugendkulturwerkstatt JoJo“
project dates: September 2019 – August 2020 (12 months).
project topics: artistic youth work (theatre, ceramics, art, literature, pottery, drawing, photography), leisure time activities with children and youth, creativity and culture, pedagogy
volunteer profile: age 18-25 years / language: basic German knowledge is a plus / interest in our social and cultural work / some practical experience in the work with children and youths is welcome

EVS (European Voluntary service) in Waldorf pedagogy: „Waldorf nursery“
project dates: April 2019 – March 2020 (12 months). The project is still approved!
project topics: (alternative) pedagogy, afternoon activities with kids (grades 1-4) like games, creative activities
volunteer profile: age 18-30 years / languages: basic German knowledge is a plus (A1 / A2) / interest in alternative pedagogy / interest in working with children / social and cultural work / some practical experience in the work with children is welcome / applications only from programme countries
